Here's my theater kid origin story!

For as long as I can remember, I have been putting on little shows for my parents (sometimes against their will). I would line up my stuffed animals, stand on the coffee table, and sing my little heart out (mostly songs from Alan Menken's talents). Little did they know (or maybe they knew all along) that the little girl forcing them to listen to “Part of Your World” for the thousandth time would be pursuing a lifelong career in the arts.
A quick rewind for reflection: I was in the 5th grade, and my Elementary school decided to put on the critically acclaimed show 101 Dalmatians Jr, the musical. I looked up at my mom and said, “I am going to be Cruella DeVil,” the rest is history. Enjoy this slightly embarrassing but also endearingly adorable picture from my origin story.
